Mosaico II was composed 2018 for Martynas Levickis, and further developed in 2019 and 2020 during collaborative sessions, both in person and online.

Mosaico II develops elements explored in Mosaico I. As the first piece was a fragmented mosaic, it became apparent that those fragments, reused and reordered, could make a new mosaic. The series is intended to explore how the identity and teleology of a piece of music can transform when the same ideas are used again and again, evolving and creating new contexts for each other within contrasting structural shapes.
