O sleep
O sleep was composed 2016 for Manchester Chamber Choir, conducted by Jonathan Lo.
​
Commissioned for a concert entitled "Miniatures at an Exhibition", O sleep is a response to Vanessa Beecroft's Untitled 1997 (green eye), a work which suggested the intense discomfort of insomnia. The music is at once both the complaint of the insomniac and a lullaby for their comfort.
