Rain Over Lower Marsh was composed 2020-2021 for the London Philharmonic Orchestra and LPO Junior Artists, conducted by Jonathan Bloxham.

Rain Over Lower Marsh was inspired by a storm that passed over an educational workshop the composer led with the LPO Junior Artists. The unique atmosphere created as the sounds of the rain on the roof merged with our musical experiments were at times unexpected, and at times intense. This piece is a reflection on the suspense and excitement of these moments when the musicians and nature combined.
