Sonatina for Solo Clarinet was composed 2020-2021.

Sonatina for Solo Clarinet is a continuation of the composer's experiments with pitch material derived from Beethoven, first explored in Morphogenesis. It derives its pitch material from Beethoven's Pastoral symphony, with sudden contrasts shaped within the structural formality expected of a traditional sonatina.
